The ship features three main dining rooms, Waves, Panorama, and L’Olive Doree/L’Olivo D’Oro where you’ll enjoy a mix of Mediterranean and international cuisine. The menus change daily, offering a wide range of appetizers, main courses, and desserts. Whether you’re in the mood for a hearty steak, fresh seafood, or a vegetarian dish, you’ll find plenty of options. We found the food in the main dining room to be on par with recent Royal Caribbean cruises.
Marketplace Buffet
For a more casual dining experience, the Marketplace Buffet is open almost around the clock. With multiple stations serving everything from pizza and pasta to salads, sandwiches, and international dishes, it’s a great place to grab a quick bite. The buffet also has an impressive selection of desserts and a dedicated area for kids, making it a hit with families. We tended to eat most of our meals in the Marketplace and were always able to find something everyone enjoyed.

For a special night out, the specialty restaurants on MSC Meraviglia may be worth the extra cost. Here are a few favorites:
- Butcher’s Cut: A classic American steakhouse, Butcher’s Cut offers premium cuts of beef, delicious sides, and a fantastic wine list. The steaks are cooked to perfection, and the ambiance is upscale yet inviting. We had the best dinner at Butcher’s Cut, the steak was cooked perfectly. The best value was to select the option of a complete dinner for $59 which includes a starter, entrée and dessert.
- Kaito Teppanyaki & Sushi Bar: If you love Japanese cuisine, Kaito is a must-visit. The teppanyaki chefs put on an entertaining show while preparing your meal, and the sushi is fresh and beautifully presented.
- Ocean Cay Restaurant: This restaurant is located directly off the promenade and offers a seafood menu along with one of the most extensive wine lists on MSC Meraviglia.
- Hola! Tacos & Cantina: Created by Michelin-starred chef Ramón Freixa, this vibrant restaurant offers a delicious array of Mexican street food and other Latin American bites. It’s a casual spot with high and low tables and a good selection of beers, tequilas, mezcales and frozen drinks. We found the food to be very good here and we liked the option of ordering à la carte or choosing all you can eat for about $17.
Bars and Lounges
MSC Meraviglia is home to a variety of bars and lounges, each with its own unique vibe. Whether you’re in the mood for a craft cocktail, a glass of fine wine, or a pint of beer, you’ll find the perfect spot to unwind. Some favorites include:
- Champagne Bar: Perfect for a pre-dinner drink or a celebratory toast, the Champagne Bar offers a selection of bubbly and caviar.
- Sky Lounge: Located high above the sea, the Sky Lounge offers panoramic views and a sophisticated atmosphere. It’s an ideal spot for a nightcap.
- Sports Bar: For a more casual vibe, the Sports Bar is a great place to catch a game and enjoy some pub fare.
MSC often offers specials that include the Easy Plus beverage package which includes all drinks including alcoholic drinks up to $10; as well as WiFi. You can also choose to upgrade to a premium beverage package.
Dessert Options
Chocolate lovers will be in their element at the Chocolate Bar, a delectable array of the finest creations from Jean-Philippe, French master-pâtissier. Watch as these sweet treats are crafted in an open-air kitchen; the aromas and artistry waiting for you to enjoy. You can also enjoy premium drinks such as lattes and macchiatos or hot chocolate. They were delicious but note these are not part of the beverage package and a separate charge applies.
Prefer some gelato or a sweet crepe? Across the way you will find the Jean-Philippe ice cream and crepe shop. The gelato was smooth and delicious as was the banana foster crepe. As with the chocolate shop, there is an additional charge for desserts from this shop.

With incredible acrobatics, stunning visuals, and captivating storytelling, it is an experience you won’t want to miss. These shows are an additional cost but we found it to be worth it and really enjoyed “House Of Houdini.”
Broadway Theatre
The Broadway Theatre hosts a variety of shows, including musicals, live music, dance performances, and comedy acts. The talented cast delivers high-energy performances that rival those you’d see in major cities. With a different show each night, there’s always something new and exciting to see.
